The little mermaid
Once there was a mermaid named Ariel she live's in a castle.  Her mom died and she swim up to the top of the water with flounder and she missed the fest. that night she saw a boat there was a prince on the boat and the prince fell off the boat and Ariel saved him.then she sang to him on the sand.when he woke up he was looking for her.  Ariel wanted to be a human so the Sea Witch gave her legs but she had to lose her voice.  they whet to the castle the next day. Then they ate dinner and Ariel brushed her hair with a fork.  Ariel tried for 3 days to get married to him.  the prince wanted to marry another girl but it was the Sea Witch in disguise.  The disguise didn't work and the spell was broken.  The prince and Ariel got married.

Bella turned in bug bucks to bring in a show and tell.  She brought in her stuffed animal collection!

We did a fun build a lego man activity with adding three numbers.  

Friends that paid 200 bug bucks to walk to Dairy Queen!  So proud of all these friends for saving!

Jack and the beanstalk

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Jack. One day his mom told him to trade there cow.He meet a old man on the way they traded a poach of magical beans for a there cow. He was so happy on  his way home when his mom saw his awful trade  she was really mad. She sent Jack to his room Jack was crying then fell asleep The next day he saw a bean stalk he climbed  the bean stalk then he herd fi fo fu fi fa . He got all the gold and climbed  down because he thought it was a giant. Then he went home and told his mom.

Today we started on our summative assessments for this unit.  Each learner is choosing a fairy tale and is retelling it in a way that they choose.  After math, we worked on these projects the majority of the day.

We had a great time at our fairy tale ball today!  Thank you, thank you, thank you to all the parents who came out to help decorate, provide food, and offer support! :)

We read, "Cinderella is so Annoying".  We filled out our cause and effect map.  Since the Wicked Stepmother told the story, what are the effects?  Then we each came up and added a part to our class's double bubble of the 2 stories.
