Yesterday we traveled to France. A tradition in France is to make Yule Log cakes. We tried them today!

The 2nd graders came caroling in the hall today.

CHRISTMAS AROUND THE WORLD

Today we traveled to England. 

Getting ready on the "plane".

We visited London Bridge and made Christmas card that originated in England. We also opened a Christmas cracker!

We are having a door decorating contest. This is our final product.

We are even encouraging others to put on a mustache and join in on the fun!

We read "Merry Christmas Big Hungry Bear" this week. The Big Hungry Bear gives the Mouse a present but we don't get to see what it is. Today we made our guesses. 

Took one more trip to Dairy Queen before we let out for the break. These friends also spent 200 bug bucks to get to come. We had fun together!

We started Christmas Around the World today. We got our scrapbooks, passports and plane tickets ready to go. Today we traveled to New York City and talked about how people in the US celebrate Christmas. 

We watched a safety video after boarding our plane.

Yesterday we described the Grinch after reading the book.

Today we talked about how the Grinch was at the beginning of the book compared to how he was at the end. the middle bubbles are things that didn't change. 

Doing some letter writing this week.

We made reindeer food. We will bring it home next week!
