Max, our student council representative, came by to give us some information of things coming up.

Working at one our new marble maze.

We are working on non-standard measurement this week. We are measuring with paper clips, popsicle sticks and cubes.

Love these messages on the ice cream popsicle sticks! :)

Brown Bag book club!
We are enjoying a book while snacking on popcorn and then talking about what the book is about!

Go Noodle has been our friend this week with the crazy rain and muddy playground!  Several kids have asked how they can do it at home.  All you have to do is go to www.gonoodle.com and set up an account. It's free and super easy!  The kids can tell you what to do once you log in! :)

Today's adaptation experiment was BLUBBER! Why do penguins not get too cold in Antartica?

We put our hand in ice water without protection and then put a "blubber glove" on and put the other hand in.
What was different?  What is the same? Why did it work?
