Today we tasted the different parts of the plant.

seed:

corn

peas

roots:

carrots

stem:

celery

leaves:

spinach

flower:

broccoli

I told them I wanted them to TRY everything.  Some of them did NOT want to, but they were risk takers and they did!  Some of them learned they actually liked some things they didn't think they did.  And some of them confirmed that they didn't like it, ha!
