Went out to the garden to plant more onions and potatoes. We will be using these for our Farmers Market at the end of the year.
We did a couple of more experiments with mixing matter. We read this book which talks about a boy that has to find all the ingredients to make a big pancake.
In the story he also makes butter for his pancake. So we paused the story and made some butter.
Then we made pancakes as well. We were able to mix solids with liquids to make the batter. Then we watch the gas bubbles form before flipping them.
Then we got to put our homemade butter on the pancakes and enjoy them!
We wrote down what materials we used, what we did to them and how they changed.
Solving some math word problems.
