Grant's birthday is in July so we celebrated today.
We did the greatest lesson today on scarcity. Each learner got a plate and were told to draw their favorite meal. They were in groups of 6. 1 learner from each group did not get crayons to draw their meal. I didn't explain much. I just told them, I guess they would have to watch.
We talked about how 1 in 6 people in the world go hungry.
These were the 4 that went hungry in our class.
We lined up to show who got to eat and who didn't.
We also talked about how there IS enough food to go around but somehow there are still people hungry.
