Jude paid bug bucks to bring in a show and tell.
We are working on number patterns in 100s charts. One thing that really trips us up is the teens. Why in the world are they called teens? They start with a 1 and that is super confusing. We sang this song to help us. We will continue to practice this. You can also practice at home.
This unit is all about change. We read this book called 'When I was Little' and talked about how things change as we get older.
Our central idea is 'Discovery the World and how it is constantly changing'.

We shook and shook and this is the first time in all my years that not one bag made. We were all so disappointed. We sure did have fun shaking those bags though. We may attempt it again if Mrs. Graves can stop sweating from the first attempt. LOL
Today I put up this small piece of a hundreds chart. Again, I LOVE the number conversations we are able to have. THEY NOTICE SO MANY THINGS.
I pulled out a full hundreds chart to show where this piece fit.
