I had some friends helping me clean Pearl's cage today!

Looking forward to working with this book this week.  

We made some predictions about what we think the crayons are talking about.

We got into groups that we will be working with for the next 6 weeks.  We created team names and made a team poster.

We will also be working on a newspaper over the next 6 weeks.  We talked about what we know already about newspapers.

We read through some fiction animal stories.

What are the character, setting, problem and solution?

How do these fictional animals interact in their environment?

Did a pre-assessment about parts of a plant.

Went out to the garden again to look at plants.  This time we sketched the different parts of the plant we could see.

Came inside to finish our sketches and to add color.

While we were at the garden we saw the complete playground shade.  We are super excited about this!!
