Logged into Schoology to go through a Prezi I created about the elements of a fairy tale.  After they watched it, they added to a fairy tale discussion board in our schoology course.

We posed this question.  We talked about how we have to know the elements of a fairy tale AND a fable before we can answer.  We will debate this in a couple weeks.  :)

International day is coming up next week!  First grade learned about Africa and will put together a bulletin board of Africa information.

Miss Frazier put together a great lesson on Africa.

We compared Africa to the United States.

The learners went on a museum walk of African items.

Then we looked through this book and found some of the same things we looked at.

We sorted African pictures and USA pictures.

Then we made the African game, Mancala out of the egg cartons you sent in.
