Intro to subtraction.
Watched a Brain pop jr about subtraction and added to our circle map.

Handwriting practice
Did a "1B ladybug museum" of artifacts that remind of the historical figures we will be learning about. We walked around and took notes about each artifact.
I introduced the names and will explore what they did this week.
We began an expository writing today!
