Today we got to see more how solids and liquids can change.
First we looked at this whipping cream.
We poured it into jars and added marbles to the jar.
Then we shook and shook and shook it up!
We made butter! This liquid turned into a solid from SHAKING!
Yesterday we saw what happened when we froze solid and liquids. Today we talked about what happened when we heated them.
Then we took solid pancake mix and added liquid water to it. Then we shook that up and poured it on the heat to see what happened!
It started bubbling up!
Then it became a solid!!
Our solids tasted DELICIOUS!! And we added our homemade butter to it!
Such a fun day!
