Explored this website a bit. It shows a depiction Cinderella from 9 different countries. We wrote down things we noticed about the pictures of her and things we wondered. I also had them discuss with a partner, why they thought Cinderella looked the way she did in each picture.
We came back together and discussed what we came up with. They had such GREAT thoughts. In the end most of them said that they thought Cinderella looked the way she did in the different pictures because THAT country wanted a Cinderella that looked like THEM. I love their thoughts and our conversations!!
We kicked off International Night by getting to watch some Flamenco Dancers. They were amazing!!
