Morning journal time!
After journals they got to go to Approaches to Learning stations. They just picked something from Social Skills for now since that's the only one I've taught them.
Today I introduced "Self Management Skills". We talked about what words they understood in the name of this station. Then we talked about how we manage ourselves. At self management we will work on fine and gross motor skills, spacial awareness, making good choices, making healthy choices for your body and mind, etc.
We love reading with the fluffy friends!
Today we made our own heart maps for when we run out of things to write about.
The next part of our Pinkerton PRIDE is Remain Safe. We read one of my favorite books, Officer Buckle and Gloria.
We wrote our own safety tips after.
