We introduced our new unit.  It's How We Express Ourselves.  This is our central idea.  We dug deeper into what we mean by this!

This week we are discussing story elements.  Today we talked about what makes a fairy tale, a fairy tale.

Then we explore a book version of "The Three Little Pigs" to compare to the play. I gave them pictures from the book and asked them what they wonder about.  

 Then we listed fairy tales that we know.  We will write about our favorite one this week.  

 

We shared our ideas about our picture to the class.  

We added the story elements for The Three Little Pigs to our Book Study board.
