This morning I was on campus but the first grade team got to work on our next IB unit and did some planning. We had a productive morning. We had great subs in our classrooms this morning.
This afternoon we had library.
Brain break!
We inquired about shadows today.
We wrote what we already knew about shadows.
Then we watched this great You tube video on shadows.
We discussed what we noticed and wondered about shadows in the video.
We made our own shadows with our "sun" in the classroom since it was a cloudy day outside. :)
