I loved reading all these goals and questions left for me from Meet the Teacher!! Such great thoughts!
Came in and worked on a morning packet. We will just be doing this this week. :)
Working on our very first journal entry of the year!!
We read First Day Jitters.
Then we drank Jitter Juice to help take away any first day jitters we might have had. Ask your child about this book. There was a surprise ending!!
Some of us liked the jitter juice, some of us did not and some of us had mixed feelings!
My 17th year to start school reading this book to my class. We will start with #1 Magic Tree House and work our way through the series. It's always great fun!!
The rain stopped just in time to dry things up just a little and get to go outside for recess!
We started working on our independent reading and building our stamina already! They did great and got 5 minutes in today!
Today we also talked about what kindness means. We watched this precious video called "Color your World with Kindness". We all LOVED it. We came up with some great ideas on how to be kind!
